ImmerseMe aims to provide culturally relevant and engaging material for an immersive online learning experience.
The company currently has a range of languages to learn and is adopting the use of 360 immersive visuals, AI-enabled interactive spaces and culturally relevant situations to learn in via either VR or desktop.
ImmerseMe wants to re-envision its user experience and interface to create a more engaging, intuitive and immersive space for students.
ImmerseMe has embarked on the brave and complex journey of making ImmerseMe V2.
This project is active and still in the developmental and refinement stages of the design process.

Complexity
Human language is incredibly complex due to its vast variety of syntax, grammar, cultural nuances, and regional dialects. This complexity poses several challenges when designing an international, multi-language learning product.
Accurately translating content while maintaining the original meaning and tone is difficult, as certain phrases or idioms may not have direct equivalents in other languages.
Furthermore, the user interface may need to adapt to different reading directions (such as left-to-right or right-to-left), accommodate diverse character sets, and respect cultural differences in learning styles and communication norms.
These intricacies make designing such a platform a delicate balance of localisation and usability.
